October is national Pedestrian Safety Month. In 2021, Springfield started holding annual Lantern Walks to draw attention to our most vulnerable road users in a fun and educational way. This year’s Lantern Walks will take place along Commercial Street (hosted by the Woodland Heights and Robberson neighborhoods).

Join our neighborhood partner Pathways UMC as they host their annual Trunk or Treat event. We will have a table / trunk at the event and we cant wait to see the creative and fun costumes you come up with. This event will be held rain or shine. In good weather we will be outside in case of inclement weather we will be in the gym.
